Sunday school School at SHLC is alive and well. Our children (ages 3 ½ through 8^th grade) join their parents for worship from 9:30 to 9:45. Following a short children’s sermon they head off to Fellowship Hall for a 15 minute group opening with our youth director, our youth worker, our music teacher and the classroom teachers. Then they are sent off to their age appropriate classes for the lesson for the day.

Our youngsters are actively engaged in learning about our triune God in a variety of ways: song, signing, drawing, puppets, and a whole range of other activities. We want them to learn the Bible stories, and then take what they have learned and place it in their hearts.

Our children truly look forward to Sunday school, as evidenced by their regular attendance!

We also schedule in occasional Family Worship Sundays where the children stay in worship the entire time with their families.
