for the Month of February!
Join us in supporting a community-wide Food Drive. We're collecting the items listed below for local families facing food insecurity. Every single item counts!
Your donation will directly support The Food Bank Network of Somerset County’s efforts to provide food, hope, and dignity to thousands of individuals and families in Somerset County.
Hunger in Somerset County*
Somerset is one of the wealthiest counties in America, yet even here there are 28,400 individuals living below the poverty line (Feeding America 2023 Map the Meal Gap Report), many of whom cannot count on having an adequate supply of food.
Personal events such as job loss, death of a breadwinner, or long-term illness can suddenly plunge a family into becoming food-insecure.
Global or regional disasters like a pandemic or catastrophic flooding, both of which have hit Somerset County in recent times, further increase the number of our neighbors facing hunger.

Take a moment to review the list of needed supplies and decide what you are able and willing to donate. Non-perishable items only.
Drop off your non-perishable donations from Monday through Thursday (9:00am-Noon) during the month of February at the Church Office Entrance of Somerset Hills Lutheran Church, 350 Lake Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.

Make a check donation payable to “Somerset Hills Lutheran Church” and write “food drive” in the memo section. Either drop off your check to our Church Office or mail it to us at 350 Lake Road, Basking Ridge, New Jersey 07920.
